How is the course taught and assessed?

In order to pass, an applicant must demonstrate competency and understanding of all the fundamental safety requirements in construction and site work. You will be assessed individually.

What qualification you will receive upon completion of the course

Once you have satisfied all the requirements and successfully passed the assessments, you will gain a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. This award does not expire and nor do you ever need to worry about being assessed all over again.

What you can do further once you have this qualification

In order to qualify for your CSCS Green Labourer Card you have to achieve a CSCS operatives test within the last 2 years.

The basic entry requirements to begin the course

In order to participate in this course there are no other requirements except basic competence in speaking and writing the English language. This course is ideal for someone who would like to enter into the construction field as a labourer but has not undergone any sort of formal training before.
