Loader Compressor
The candidate can carry out training on the machine or training + test which can be carried out on site
After completion of the course the candidate will:
- Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as an operator.
- Have a working knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook and other sources of information, regulations and legislations applicable to the particular machine to be used.
- Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine and explain their functions.
- Be able to locate and identify key controls and explain their functions.
- Be able to conduct all pre-operational and running checks in accordance with manufacturers and legislative requirements.
- Be able to identify and maintain PPE appropriate for loader compressor use.
- Be able to conduct all necessary safety checks at the work area.
- Be able to prepare the loader compressor for use and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Know environmental considerations.
- Have a understanding of the storage and transportation of a loader compressor attachments.
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of loading and unloading procedures for machine transportation.
- Be able to carry out all end of work and shut down procedures.
- Be able to carry out all end of shift and shut down procedures.
