Forward Tipping Dumper Wheeled & Tracked & Rear Tipping Articulated Dumper
The candidate can carry out training on the machine or training + test which can be carried out on site or at our purpose-built training Centre.
After completion of the course the candidate will:
- Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as an operator
- Have a working knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook for the particular machine to be used. Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine and explain their functions and be able to locate and identify steering, driving and braking controls and explain their functions.
- Conduct all necessary safety checks at the work area
- Be able to take into consideration environmental conditions
- Be able to identify and maintain PPE appropriate for use.
- Be able to conduct all pre-operational checks in accordance with manufacturers and legislative requirements.
- Be able to prepare the forward/rear tipping dumper for use and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Be able to conduct all necessary safety checks at the work area. Attach and set trailed/mounted attachment ready for work.
- Be able to consider the environment before work starts. Storage and transport of forward/rear tipping dumper attachments.
- Be able to storage and transport of forward/rear tipping dumper attachments.
- Be able to understand loading/unloading procedures for machine transportation.
- Be able to carry out all end of shift and shut down procedures.
