The candidate can carry out training on the machine or training + test which can be carried out on site or at our purpose-built training Centre.
After completion of the course the candidate will:
- Know reasons for using locators – both safety and financial.
- Have a basic understanding of the theory – covering both the benefits of the system and the limitations of this cat and genny technology.
- Have a basic understanding of practical work – hands on locating using receiver, transmitter and accessories.
- Have knowledge for Feedback, questions / answers, application and techniques, general care and maintenance of equipment.
- Be able to conduct simple ways to locate street lighting cables.
- Be able to find location of bends.
- Be able to find location of junctions.
- Be able to identify utilities.
- Be able to service Connections.
- Have a basic understanding of locating through concrete reinforcing.
- Have a basic understanding of depth measurement (Where Applicable).
- Have a basic understanding of using Sondes for Non-Metallic Pipes
